August 6 and 7th

ALLISON Today, first, we ate breakfast. Then, our driver, Putu, took us to an elephant safari park. We rode on elephants! The elephants were so big, and it was so much fun! Then, we went to a beautiful water temple. You had to cover your legs to go in, so they gave us sarongs, which were big, orange pieces of cloth that you wrapped around your legs. There were lakes everywhere, and it was so beautiful. It was amazing! Putu told us that the Hindu religion believed in not many gods and goddesses, but one god who took different forms, but was really not a man or a woman, and not a human or an animal, but like the air. Then, we bought some snacks for dinner and crashed. I had a wonderful day.
