Our First Day

WILL

Today we arrived in Singapore. We rested for a bit, and then had breakfast. It was great. Mom requested a joint section with 2 rooms a while back, but they didn't have it, so we were upgraded to the presidential suite. After we were situated, we went on a tour of Singapore. Our tour guide was named Robin, and he obviously knew what he was talking about. We went to a Buddhist temple in which we witnessed a ceremony of blessing on the temple preformed by a woman who was said to have been possessed by the gods in order to help her health. We also went to Chinatown, where Mom and I saw lots of cool things at some of the electronic stores. While in Chinatown, we saw a street-side artisan who was making plastic figures of whoever paid him 20 dollars (Singapore). Maybe we will go back tomorrow. We stopped by Little India, but the twins didn't want to get out of the car on account of jetlag. Finally, we went to a series of food stalls, named the circus. Today could have been better if not for jetlag and a lack of time. Tomorrow will be better when the jetlag settles down a bit.
